How does it work without any electricity?
This log set operates on a completely millivolt system.The thermopile (a device that generates a small electrical current from heat) is activated by the pilot light. This tiny current is enough to power the safety valve and the remote control receiver, eliminating the need for a household electrical outlet or batteries for basic operation.
What is ODS, and why is it important?
ODS stands for Oxygen Depletion Sensor. It is a critical safety feature. The pilot light is designed to shut off automatically if the oxygen level in the room drops below a safe level (typically around 18%), preventing the risk of carbon monoxide buildup and ensuring a safe environment.
What does "Dual Fuel" technology mean?
Dual Fuel means this fireplace insert is versatile and can operate on either natural gas or liquid propane (LP).
How realistic is the "real yellow flame"?
