It says "no electricity required." How does it work without any power at all?
It uses a piezoelectric ignition system. When you push the ignition knob, it creates a spark to light the pilot light, much like a push-button barbecue grill.
How does the ODS (Oxygen Depletion Sensor) actually work to keep me safe?
The ODS is a critical safety feature. It consists of a special thermocouple placed near the pilot flame. If the oxygen level in the room drops below a safe level (around 18%), the flame's characteristics change. This causes the thermocouple to cool down, which signals the gas valve to automatically shut off the entire heater, preventing the production of dangerous carbon monoxide.
Does it produce moisture or odors when use in rooom?
This heater produces two primary byproducts: heat and water vapor. You will likely notice an increase in humidity levels in the room, which can be beneficial in dry climates but may lead to condensation on windows in colder climates. When properly maintained and used with a clean-burning propane cylinder, it should produce minimal to no odor. Any persistent unusual smell could indicate an issue that requires attention.

The castors make it possible to roll the entire assembled unit from one room to another on flat surfaces with relative ease, despite the weight.
